LIFE IN THE WORD
We speak many words each day, or rather, we start the day by uttering the word to communicate and understand our daily routine. Did you ever stop and think which was the first word you uttered today? Was that word a useful one? Did the word make you do something? Do you ever think what type of words you spoke? No! Because even I do not think of such thoughts…we just spoke it. But now as I am writing this, I realize there is power in the word. When we talk something we expect things to work.

In God’s word we see there is power. When He spoke the first word, that word was Messiah as it is written in John.1:1 ”In the beginning was the word and the word was with God (Yahweh), and the word was God (Yashua Messiah)”. This word was a creative word. The world was also created by His word. The six days of creation that we read in Genesis 1 was created by His powerful word. He created the light, earth, sun, moon, stars, animals, birds and fish.

When He created man, He made him with His own hands, because He loved us more than any other creation. He gave us thinking mind and made us in His own image, to be His friend, to talk to Him and walk with Him.

Here I want you to understand that the word has working power, as is written in Isa .55: 11,” So shall my word be that goes forth from My mouth, it shall not return to Me void, but it shall accomplish what I please, and it shall prosper in the thing for which I sent it.”

Messiah is the living word. John. 1: 14,” And the Lord was made flesh and dwelt among us”. Messiah says,” I am the way, the truth and life”. So He alone can give us everlasting life. This word is given to us in the form of Holy Bible which explains all the laws of life, to be healthy, wealthy and wise, to lead a righteous, sober, triumphant life, in spite of difficulties. Apostle Paul says in 1 Cor. 10: 13. the word of Yah shows us a way to escape these difficult situations.

I have heard some non-believers say that if we repeat certain words they get whatever they wish for. I think it is a sort of positive thinking.

The Bible says that these verses were written by the prophets by the inspiration of Holy Spirit. II Tim.3: 16. All the promises written in the Bible are true and are fulfilled. Amen! And advises us to claim the promises. Heb.6: 11. that is repeating the promises shown to you. If you are sick, say aloud,” Lord, you are the healer, you are the giver of life, lead us” as written in Ex.15: 26, Ex.23: 25, Deut.32: 39, James.5: 14. You will be definitely blessed with good health. If there is no peace at home, repeat the verses John.14: 27, Phil.4: 7, Luke.2: 14. Lord gives us the peace that the world cannot give. Give us your peace, you promised us peace on earth and brought us that peace by your birth into this world.

John.17: 23-24 says,” Whatsoever you ask the Father in my name, He will give it to you”.
“…Ask and you shall receive, that your joy may be full”. 

If you have financial problems ask the Lord! He is our treasurer. He says,”I’ll give you out of my treasure”. He wants us to be rich, prosperous but the principle is we have to support His ministry for the eternal kingdom through tithes and offerings, the more you work for the proclamation of the gospel, the more He will bless you spiritually, physically and mentally, as He blessed King Solomon. 1Kings.3: 10, 11.The Lord challenges and says, “Test me by giving to my work and I’ll open the doors of heaven and bless you”. Mal.3: 10.

Matt.19: 29.Whatever you have done for my sake you’ll receive hundredfold and everlasting life.

Dear friend, there’s power in the word of Yah (God) and the power is the working force for all the miracles in our lives, repeat these words meaningfully with faith…receive the blessing. The word has life; this word is also called as living waters, which satisfies the needs of our daily life. They regenerate us, revive us and make us live a powerful life that makes us do righteous works and leads us to eternity.

Beware of the words you speak! Read James.3. The tongue, which is a little member, is able to defile the and whole body. We cannot bless and curse with the same mouth. God gave us the tongue to praise Him. If we can control our tongue, half the battle is won! Eccl.12: 14…every work, whether good or bad will be judged, so also the words we speak!
