Temptations:
Every human being is made of dust. Though he wants to lead a godly life, he cannot do so because of his fleshy nature. He gets tempted in various ways of sin in this satanic world. Paul teaches us in I Cor.10: 13 that every man gets tempted as long as he is in this world, “no temptation has overtaken you except such as is common to man; but God (Yah) is faithful, who will not allow you to be tempted beyond what you are able, but with the temptation will also make the way of escape, that you may be able to bear it.”

The above verse means that temptation is a common thing that occurs to man, but if he fears God (Yah), He is faithful to that man and gives him patience to bear with it and also shows a way to escape the same.

James.1: 2,4,” my brethren, count it all joy when you fall into various trials, knowing that the testing of your faith produces patience. But let patience have its perfect work, that you may be perfect and complete, lacking nothing.” These temptations teach us patience and lead a man towards perfection as he overcomes them.

James.1: 12. Blessed is the man who endures temptation, for when he has been proved, he will receive the crown of life.

The Lord delivers the godly man from temptation. II Pet.2: 9, ‘The Lord knows how to deliver the godly out of temptation, and to reserve the unjust under punishment for the day of judgment.
II Pet.2: 18 explains the fate of the unrighteous or ungodly man and those that are god fearing, i.e. clean and escaped from the unjust.

I Pet.4: 14-16,’ If you are reproached for the name of Messiah, blessed are you, for the spirit of glory and of God (Yah) rests upon you. On their part He is blasphemed, but on your part He is glorified. But let none of you suffer as a murderer, a thief, an evildoer, or as a busybody in other people’s matters. Yet if anyone suffers as a Christian, let him not be ashamed, but let him glorify God (Yah) in this matter.

I Pet.1: 6,7,’in this you greatly rejoice, though now for a little while, if need be, you have been grieved by various trials, that the genuineness of your faith, being much more precious than gold that perishes, though it is tested by fire, may be found to praise, honor, and glory at the revelation of Jesus Christ (Yahshua Messiah.)

Paul in his letter to Romans.5: 3-5 is rejoicing in trials because there are lots of lessons to learn, ‘ we also glory in tribulations, knowing that tribulation produces perseverance, and perseverance character, and character hope. Now hope does not disappoint, because the love of God (Yah) has been poured out in our hearts by the Holy Spirit who was given to us.’

II Cor.7: 4.’I am filled with comfort and I am exceedingly joyful in all our tribulation.’ This Holy Spirit is our comforter, helper in times of temptations and leads us into truth and gives victory over such situations.

I John.4: 2-4,’every spirit that confesses that Jesus Christ (Yahshua Messiah) has come in the flesh is of God (Yah), and every spirit that does not confess is of Antichrist. You are of God (Yah), little children, and have overcome them, because He who is in you is greater than he who is in the world’.
II Cor 1; 3-4…’’the father of mercies, and the God of all comfort .who comforts us in all our tribulation, that we may be able to comfort them which are in any trouble, with the comfort with which we ourselves are comforted by God.
After all, this world is a passing phase, the time we spend here may be 60 or 70 or 100 years, which is temporary. The small trials that we face in our daily lives should not be counted, but prepare your hearts, turn to the Creator, Savior, redeemer of your sin, to reach that goal of eternal life rather than this worldly, fleshy life which is temporary.

Therefore Paul says that our bodies are the temples where we leave this garment on earth and are changed into spiritual forms when we enter His kingdom. II Cor 5; 1-5 ‘’For we know that if our earthly house, this tent, is destroyed, we have a building from God (Yah), a house not made with hands, eternal in the heavens.’’
II Cor 4;7-10 ‘’we have this treasure in earthen vessel, that the excellence of the power  may be of God (Yah) and not of us. We are pressed   on every side, yet not crushed, we are perplexed, but not in despair, persecuted, but not forsaken, cast down, but not destroyed.  Always carrying about in the body the dying of Messiah, that the life of Messiah may also be manifested in our body.‘’ These verses make us strong in the Lord and give us patience to bear all trials in this life, overcoming them, giving us victory.
For we walk by faith, not by sight .we are confident, and are willing to be absent from this body, and to be present with the Lord. II Cor.5: 7-10.
