FRUITFUL BLESSING
Blessings will come down as the prayers go up …it’s a part of a song which we sing aloud in our churches. But do we really sing from the bottom of our hearts? Are we enjoying these blessings every day of our lives? We pray but do we really get our hearts desire? (Psalm 34:4).

These are a number of questions that arise in our minds. Even I did but as I grew older day by day I started spending more time in prayers and meditating on his word and unknowingly I was receiving a number of blessings in my life. I did face a lot of problems in my life but day by day the Lord lifted me up and prospered me in all areas of my life-bodily and spiritually. As the Bible says in Matt 6:36 “Seek ye first the kingdom of God (Yahweh) and all these things shall be added unto you”. I did little things for the Lord but he did the best things for me! A hundred fold blessing! As written in Matt 19:29…”If you do anything for the Lord to spread his good news of salvation to others he will give you a hundred fold blessing and also eternal life!”

In 2 John verse 2 the apostle says “you may prosper and be in health, even as thy soul prospereth.’ This is the promise of blessings as your prayers go up. I’d like to tell all the believers in Messiah to sincerely pray and meditate on his word every day, and then you will find peace, joy and all the blessings of life as written in Romans 14:17. “the kingdom of God is not meat or drink but righteousness, peace and joy in the Holy Ghost”. But today's believers, including many pastors, do their routine job as any other government jobs. When the boss is around they try to work as if they are sincerely working, but they don’t bother to do so when nobody’s around!
Many Christians also have the same attitude. To show that we are religious, we go to church, to be seen by others, and to be recognized we do little good deeds. But when left alone, we forget that the One who rules the world is looking at us.

Sin rules our hearts rather than the word of Lord. We cannot resist temptations because we don’t know the word of God. We have no time to pray and cleanse our hearts with the word. Our spirit is weak because there is no nutrition for the soul by the living word. We feel disturbed confused, sick; lose courage to face any difficult situation in life; because we lack courage. But the word of God says in Joshua 1:8 “Be strong and of good courage! I will never leave you nor forsake you!”

These three words Courage, Confidence and Comfort were ringing in my ears when I went through such troubled situations.  I was a very bold and a confident lady, I knew I could do things well, but suddenly I lost courage due to the problems in my life. I faced them as challenges in the beginning but later on I became depressed because of repeated problems. Suddenly these three words were ringing in my ears…courage, confidence and comfort. Then I understood that God was boosting my confidence and wanted me to get back my courage. But I was questioning myself “how would I face these problems?” The word which comes from God would always encourage me daily. ”courage, confidence and comfort. I started thinking about the three words. I read Joshua.1:9 again and again,”Be strong and of good courage, be not afraid…the Lord …is with thee whithersoever you go”. As days went by the Lord fulfilled his promise and prospered me according to his word. Confidence was the word I read in Psalms.112:7,”He shall not be afraid of evil tidings, his heart is fixed, trusting in the Lord”.
I knew to trust the Lord at all times the bad news it shook me, but I had confidence that the Lord will carry me through it. It did happen and I was safe in the arms of Messiah.

Comfort is the word that strengthened me like a pain balm. Though people left me alone my Lord did not leave me. He talked to me through his word. He gave me wisdom to overcome the situation. He kept great peace in my soul which the world could not give. John 14:27. He filled me with his Holy Spirit to enjoy the companionship of his comfort and strengthened me. The blessings came down as our sincere prayers went up.

I would request all our readers to spend time in prayers and meditation, to understand what the Bible says, open your heart to receive the promises and witness (share) with others then your faith increases. As faith increases you receive your blessing. No faith seed-- no blessing fruit. Remember to have family prayers; build the faith seed into your spouse and your children. The fruit is clearly seen-it's the BLESSING!

The word seed will increase your faith seed, that’s why it's written in Romans10:17 “faith comes from hearing the word of God”. Every house has a TV. We watch it 24 hours a day to enjoy the worldly pleasures. At least spend one tenth of the time i.e. two and a half hours or one hour to hear the word of God from channels like Miraclenet, God TV, and Daystar etc. Great men of faith teach us great things from the Bible to live this life.
 The Bible they say is “Basic Instruction Book for Life Eternal”. Yes! To live a blessed life on earth and in heaven we have to follow the rules of the Bible. Right from our schooling till we get a job, we follow rules. Then we have traffic rules, Tax rules, building rules…! We follow all these rules very strictly, otherwise we are fined. Our Lord has given us some simple rules for our daily living. They are for our well being. To know these rules, we have to read the Bible. If we don’t know the rules how can we follow them!  Learn the rule and play a successful life’s game, victory will be yours. Proverbs.10:22, ’the blessing of the Lord makes one rich and addeth no sorrow with it.’ Live the way Messiah wants us to live and enter into eternal life, or disobey Him and be destroyed. The choice is yours. Deut.30: 19,’ I have set before you life and death…choose life, that both thou and thy seed may live’.
