Presumptuous sins.
Psalms.19:13.  Keep back thy servant also from presumptuous sins; let them not have dominion over me: then shall I be upright, and I shall be innocent from the great transgression.
Presumptuous=failing to observe the limits of what is permitted or appropriate. (Oxford Dictionary).
Presumptuous sins are those which are committed after deliberation, after planning, with the idea that what we are going to do is correct or a very minor mistake. They are those sins which are committed willfully against known truth, in total disregard for that revealed truth.
Adam and Eve were Elohim’s first children. They were also the first sinners. But we read in 1 Tim.2:14 that ‘Adam was not deceived, but the woman being deceived was in the transgression’. Adam received the fruit from the hand of Eve; he knew he was transgressing, he was not deceived;
Elohim had specifically told Adam not to eat of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil (Gen.2:16-17), but Adam chose to ignore Elohim’s command.

Under the law of Moses, the soul that sins presumptuously shall be cut off from Israel. “But the soul that doeth ought presumptuously, whether he be born in the land, or a stranger, the same reproacheth the LORD; and that soul shall be cut off from among his people.” (Num 15:30

When the children of Israel wanted water,(Num.20:7-12) the Lord told Moses to speak to the rock. But Moses, in his anger, struck the rock. The water rushed out but Moses had not obeyed the Lord fully. Moses thought that since he was Elohim’s prophet, He would ignore his sin. Moses was punished for his disobedience by not being allowed to enter the Promised Land.

Nadab and Abihu, (Lev.10:1-2) sons of Aaron, acted presumptuously when they took strange fire and offered incense to the Lord. Elohim showed how every aspect of his service should be conducted. He is an Elohim of perfection. But in spite of knowing this Nadab and Abihu took matters into their own hands and did what they thought was right and sinned against the Almighty. And there went out fire from the LORD, and devoured them, and they died before the LORD.

When the Ark of the Lord was being brought from Kirjathjearim (I Chr.13:1-13), Uzzah put out his hand to steady the ark because the oxen pulling the cart stumbled. The ark had been in Abinadab’s house for twenty years. Uzzah had grown used to it from his childhood and had become familiar and indifferent to its’ presence. He presumed that Elohim would not mind if he touched it. Elohim was very angry at Uzzah for doing this, and he killed Uzzah right there beside the chest.

In I Sam.13:1-15, we read about a battle between Israel and the Philistines. Saul waited for Samuel and when he did not come on the appointed day, Saul started to offer a sacrifice to the Lord, which he was not supposed to do. He acted presumptuously thinking that Elohim would be pleased with his sacrifice. But since Saul did not keep Elohim’s commandment, he was punished and his kingdom went to David.

In the New Testament, in Acts.5:1-4, we read about Ananias and his wife Sapphira. They sold some property and gave a part of it to Peter, saying that was the full amount. They presumed that nobody would know the truth. But peter admonished them saying they had lied not to men but to the Holy Spirit. For their sin of presumption, they both died.
There is a way which seemeth right unto a man, but the end thereof are the ways of death.
(Proverbs.14:12).In our daily lives we presume many things about Elohim, our worship and even our salvation. We presume that:
Traditions of men are Elohim’s ideas. Matt.15:9
Words spoken by preachers are revelations from Elohim. II Pet.2:1.
Feelings are actually Elohim’s will.  Pro.14:12
Worshipping as we like thinking it is Elohim who leads us. John.4:24
Worshipping something in ignorance, borrowing forms of worship from heathens. Acts.17:30

Adding rituals to the Lord’s Supper, tithing, baptism, etc. Thinking Elohim will ignore some sins, that all sins are not equal. Elohim does not differentiate between sins.
We read in Rom.3:23. For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of Elohim.  Act 10:34 says that Elohim is no respecter of persons. He has given us His laws and commandments for us to live according to them. All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness: That the man of God may be perfect, thoroughly furnished unto all good works. (2Ti 3:16-17)  In 2005 a “teaching document” issued by the Roman Catholic bishops of England, Wales and Scotland warned that Catholics should not take the Bible literally, which casts doubts of the authority and authenticity of the Bible.

We must not be presumptuous in our attitude towards Elohim, our salvation, our worship, nor in our very life. Remember, we will be judged by Elohim’s standards, not the standards of this world. For God shall bring every work into judgment, with every secret thing, whether it be good, or whether it be evil (Eccl. 12:14).  He that rejecteth me, and receiveth not my words, hath one that judgeth him: the word that I have spoken, the same shall judge him in the last day. (John. 12:48).
Remember, presumptuous sins are not forgiven!
